Luana concluiu seu Mestrado em Propriedade Intelectual e Inovação pela Academia de Inovação e Propriedade Intelectual do Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (2018). Adquiriu sua Pós-graduação em Direito da Propriedade Intelectual pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC) em 2010 e é graduada em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), 2006.

Especialista em marketing digital com 25 anos de experiência. Atualmente é o Diretor de Tecnologia e Produção Digital da Hogarth Brasil. Nesta função, é responsável pelos times de estratégia, tecnologia, automação, programática e inovações digitais, como realidade virtual e inteligência artificial. É membro do Conselho de Liderança Digital da Hogarth Worldwide. 

Atuou também como Head of Digital e Vice-Presidente de Serviços ao Cliente na Hogarth Brasil. Foi Gerente de Operações na OgilvyOne e Diretor de Produção Digital na Africa Propaganda.  

No início da carreira, se dedicou ao aprimoramento de habilidades técnicas, trabalhando como Desenvolvedor Front-end, Arquiteto de Informação, Especialista em UX e Produtor Digital.  

Desde 2007, passou a ocupar posições executivas, gerenciando equipes técnicas e operacionais, além de promover o desenvolvimento de novos negócios. 

Com a crescente integração de ferramentas de IA e automação nos negócios, passou a atuar também como consultor de soluções tecnológicas para comunicação digital, para anunciantes e agências de publicidade.

In this role, he oversees teams in strategy, technology, automation, programmatic, and digital innovations, including virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

Alexandre Dantas Rodrigues 

Engenheiro químico pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2002), com mestrado em engenharia química pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/COPPE (2005). Desde 2006, atua como Pesquisador em Propriedade Industrial no Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI-BR), tendo desempenhado atividades como examinador de pedidos de patente relacionados a tecnologias de petróleo e engenharia química (2006 – 2017), palestrante em cursos de disseminação e de treinamento em PI (2008 – 2018) e chefe da Divisão de Engenharia Química e de Petróleo (2017 – 2018). Entre 2018 e 2022 foi assistente técnico, além de diretor substituto, da Diretoria de Patentes, Programas de Computação e Topografia de Circuitos Integrados (DIRPA). Desde 2023 atua como Diretor da DIRPA.   

Alexandre Dantas Rodrigues holds a in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (2002) and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro/COPPE (2005). Since 2006, he has been a Researcher at the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO), where he has served as a patent examiner for technologies related to oil and chemical engineering (2006-2017), a lecturer in IP dissemination and training courses (2008-2018), and the head of the Division of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering (2017-2018). Between 2018 and 2022, he worked as a technical assistant and deputy director of the Directorate of Patents, Computer Programs, and Integrated Circuit Topographies (DIRPA). Since 2023, he has been serving as the Director of DIRPA.

Engenheiro Mecânico formado pela Unicamp e mestre em Políticas de Ciência e Tecnologia pelo SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit) / Universidade de Sussex, no Reino Unido, com distinção. Na Finep, já ocupou anteriormente as gerências do Departamento Operacional de São Paulo e do Departamento das Indústrias Aeroespacial, Defesa e Segurança, onde respondia também como Superintendente Adjunto da Superintendência Regional de São Paulo, tendo também passagens como analista da Presidência (onde integrou missões para Israel e África do Sul) e no Departamento de Planejamento. Anteriormente à Finep trabalhou em consultorias de negócios no Brasil (Roland Berger) e na Argentina (The Mind Company).

Superintendent of Innovation Area 4 (AIN4) at Finep, based in the São Paulo office. AIN4 is responsible for representing Finep in the Brazilian Southeast region and overseeing projects in various sectors, including Aerospace, Defense and Security, Textiles and Footwear, Paper and Pulp, Education, and Intellectual Property, among others. Cláudio Furtado é Of Counsel no Di Blasi, Parente & Associados. É ex-presidente do Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI), foi professor de carreira permanente da Fundação Getúlio Vargas, onde lecionou Estratégia de Investimentos, Finanças Corporativas, Private Equity e Venture Capital. É autor de artigos profissionais, palestrante em conferências internacionais e é coautor dos livros O Primeiro e Segundo Censos Brasileiros da Indústria de Private Equity e Venture Capital. Cláudio Furtado is Of Counsel at Di Blasi, Parente & Associados. He is a former President of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO). He was a tenured professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, teaching Investment Strategy, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. He has authored professional articles, spoken at international conferences, and co-authored the first and second editions of “The Brazilian Census of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Industry.” He has served as an expert witness in various national and international arbitrations and as a Board Member. Christiano dos Santos Timbó

Christiano dos Santos Timbó é mestre em Radioproteção e Dosimetria pelo Instituto de Radioproteção e Dosimetria – IRD, ligado à CNEN, e bacharel e licenciado em Física pela UFF. Christiano integra a carreira de Tecnologista em Propriedade Industrial, tendo ingressado no INPI em 2006. Desde então, atuou na Diretoria de Marcas no exame de pedidos de registro, auxiliando em diversos projetos desta Diretoria desde seu ingresso. Atuou como Chefe de Divisão de Exame Técnico de 2010 a 2016, e Coordenador da Coordenação de Instrução Técnica, Gestão do Conhecimento e Relacionamento com o Usuário de 2016 a 2017. Em 2017, foi indicado pelo INPI para participação no programa Seconded National Experts (SNE) do European Union Intellectual Property Office – EUIPO, onde atuou como examinador de marcas até 2020. Desde seu retorno, elabora subsídios técnicos para a manifestação do INPI em ações judiciais envolvendo marcas. Atualmente, coordena grupo de trabalho visando o disciplinamento do exame técnico da aquisição de distintividade no âmbito do INPI.

Christiano dos Santos Timbó holds a Master’s in Radiological Protection and Dosimetry from the Institute of Radiological Protection and Dosimetry (IRD), affiliated with the Brazilian National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN), and a Bachelor’s and teaching certification in Physics from UFF (Fluminense Federal University). He embarked on a career as an Industrial Property Technologist, joining the BPTO – Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office in 2006. Since then, he has worked in the Trademark Directorate, examining registration applications and contributing to various projects within the Directorate. From 2010 to 2016, he served as the Head of the Technical Examination Division, and from 2016 to 2017, he was the Coordinator of the Coordination of Technical Instruction, Knowledge Management, and User Relations. In 2017, he was nominated by the BPTO to participate in the Seconded National Experts (SNE) program at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), where he worked as a trademark examiner until 2020. Upon his return to Brazil, he has been preparing technical reports for the BPTO’s responses in legal cases involving trademarks. Currently, he coordinates a working group focused on regulating the technical examination of distinctiveness acquisition within the BPTO. 

Bartosz Sujecki

Bartosz Sujecki é sócio da Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten em Amsterdã, Países Baixos. Ele é chefe do departamento de PI/TI da Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten. Membro da Ordem dos Advogados da Holanda e da Alemanha, é especializado na área de propriedade intelectual, direito de TI e litígios comerciais relacionados à tecnologia.

Bartosz Sujecki estudou direito alemão e holandês na Leibnitz Universität Hannover, Alemanha, na Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Países Baixos, e na Universiteit van Amsterdam. Em 2008, obteve seu doutorado com um estudo comparativo sobre a introdução de procedimentos judiciais eletrônicos na Universiteit Utrecht.

Bartosz Sujecki, PhD, is partner at Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the head of the IP/IT department of Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten. He is admitted to the Dutch and the German Bar and specializes in the field of intellectual property, IT-law and Tech related commercial litigation.  

Bartosz Sujecki studied German and Dutch law at the Leibnitz Universität Hannover, Germany, the Rijksuniversiteit Gronigen, the Netherlands, and the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2008, he has obtained a PhD on a comparative study on the introduction of electronic court proceedings from the Universiteit Utrecht.  

 Bartosz Sujecki publishes frequently over cross border litigation, intellectual property law and IT law in national and international law journals. With more than 150 publications, he is considered to be one of the experts in the field of cross border litigation in the EU. Bartosz Sujecki is a frequent speaker on conferences and trainings courses for lawyers and judges, such as the European Academy of Law, the Deutsche Richterakademie, the Dutch SSR, the New York State Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and the ITechLaw.

Michael Hawkins é sócio no escritório da firma de advocacia europeia Noerr em Alicante, Espanha. A prática de Michael foca em estratégias globais de proteção de marcas, processos perante o EUIPO e os tribunais europeus, registro e estratégia de design, além de áreas correlatas. Michael está fortemente envolvido na International Trademark Association (INTA), tendo atuado em seu Conselho de Diretores de 2019 a 2021. Ele também é membro do Comitê de Direito da Propriedade Intelectual da Law Society of England & Wales e frequentemente fala, publica e ensina sobre questões de marcas e design, inclusive no programa de mestrado em PI da Universidade de Alicante.

Michael tem grande interesse em questões de Diversidade, Equidade e Inclusão. Ele copresidiu a Força-Tarefa Presidencial de Diversidade, Equidade e Inclusão da INTA em 2022, com o objetivo de tornar a profissão de PI (particularmente marcas) globalmente mais diversa e promover melhores práticas. Michael Hawkins is a partner in the European law firm Noerr’s office in Alicante, Spain.  Michael’s practice focuses on global trade mark protection strategies, proceedings before the EUIPO and the European courts, designs registration and strategy, as well as related areas.  Michael is heavily involved in the International Trademark Association (INTA), serving on its Board of Directors from 2019-2021. Michael is also a member of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of the Law Society of England & Wales and regularly speaks, publishes and teaches on trade mark and design issues, including in the University of Alicante’s IP master program.  

Michael has a keen interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues.  He Co-Chaired INTA’s 2022 Presidential Task Force on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, aimed at making the IP (particularly the trade mark) profession globally more diverse and putting forward best practices. He was named one of WIPR’s 2022 Diversity Champions and is one of the three partners at Noerr responsible for diversity firm-wide, leading the work of the Diversity Committee, the Noerr Diversity Network and implementing diversity ideas, events and projects across the firm and externally.

Edson tem mais de 20 anos de experiência em propriedade intelectual (PI), e, atualmente, ocupa a posição de diretor de PI e membro da rede global de assuntos públicos, ciência e sustentabilidade na Bayer. 

Possui formação científica e jurídica, é mestre em direito e ética em biotecnologia pela Universidade de Sheffield, no Reino Unido, tem um MBA em inovação e empreendedorismo pela EAESP/FGV, e certificações executivas em comunicação, políticas públicas, regulação e sustentabilidade/ESG. 

Foi professor no CEIPI-Université de Strasbourg, do curso PI em sustentabilidade corporativa, para examinadores do Escritório Europeu de Patentes, é palestrante em eventos e cursos de pós-graduação nacionais e internacionais relacionados a propriedade intelectual, biotecnologia e sustentabilidade e atualmente copreside o comitê de ESG do Instituto Internacional de Gestão de PI (I3PM). 

Edson has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property (IP) and currently serves as the Director of IP and a member of the global network for public affairs, science, and sustainability at Bayer. 

He holds both scientific and legal qualifications, with a Master’s in Law and Ethics in Biotechnology from the University of Sheffield, UK, an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from EAESP/FGV, and executive certifications in communication, public policy, regulation, and sustainability/ESG. 

Edson has taught the course on IP in corporate sustainability at CEIPI-Université de Strasbourg for examiners from the European Patent Office. He is a frequent speaker at national and international events and postgraduate courses on intellectual property, biotechnology, and sustainability. Currently, he co-chairs the ESG Committee of the International Institute for IP Management (I3PM).

No atual desafio, a área é responsável pela validação técnica dos produtos de inovação, como performance sensorial dos produtos interna e externamente, assim como pelos claims funcionais e estratégia técnica para produtos focados em saudabilidade e bem-estar.

Andressa Azevedo holds an engineering degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Fluminense Federal University)and an MBA in Business Management from FGV. With eight years of experience in product innovation at Ambev, she currently serves as the Corporate Manager of Sensory and Consumer Science for South America at Ambev’s Innovation and Technology Center in Rio de Janeiro. In her current role, her team is responsible for the technical validation of innovative products, including internal and external sensory performance, functional claims, and technical strategy for products focused on health and wellness. 

Rafael Dias de Lima 

Graduado em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), com MBA em Direito Empresarial na Fundação Getúlio Vargas, no Rio de Janeiro, atua na área de marcas, direito autoral, direito da concorrência, contencioso judicial, contratos, direito da publicidade, nomes de domínio, software, Tecnologia da Informação (TI), no Brasil e no exterior.

Maria Beatriz Pennacchi Dellore

Maria Beatriz Pennacchi Dellore atua como Conselheira Regional de Propriedade Intelectual para o Mercosul, Guiana Francesa, Guiana e Suriname no U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), estando lotada no Consulado Geral dos Estados Unidos no Rio de Janeiro. Anteriormente, Maria Beatriz prestou serviços para a Comissão de Propriedade Intelectual e Direito da Concorrência da Câmara de Comércio Internacional em Paris, França. Também trabalhou em renomados escritórios de advocacia no Brasil e Estados Unidos, onde se especializou em direito marcário. Maria Beatriz Dellore is the Regional Intellectual Property Advisor for Mercosur, French Guiana, Guyana and Suriname at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, based out of the U.S. Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ms. Dellore previously worked at the International Chamber of Commerce’s Intellectual Property and Competition Law Commission in Paris, France, as well as a number of prestigious law firms in Brazil and the U.S., where she focused her practice on trademark law matters. She acts as Specialist of the Domain Names Chamber, and Arbitrator of the Chamber of Arbitrage, both of the Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution Center of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property. Participou de discussões com a OMPI, TM5 (CNIPA, EUIPO, JPO, KIPO e USPTO) e outros escritórios nacionais de PI sobre a globalização dos sistemas de marcas. Consul, Consulate General of Japan in Rio de Janeiro – IP Attaché of the Japan Patent Office (JPO) 

He joined the Japan Patent Office (JPO) in 2012. In 2015, he was promoted to a Trademark Examiner. In addition to engaging in trademark examination, he worked for the International Cooperation Division and took part in the discussions with WIPO, TM5(CNIPA, EUIPO, JPO, KIPO and USPTO) and other national IP Offices on the globalization of trademark system. As well as he was an instructor of trademark training courses for developing countries. In 2019, he studied in the UK. In 2020, he worked in the Trademark Division to improve the efficiency of trademark examination and contributed to shortening the trademark examination period. He also worked on introducing AI technology into figurative trademark searches and conducted the first ever machine learning competition at the JPO. For these achievements, he received the Excellent Employee Award from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Furthermore, he was also involved in the training of Assistant Trademark Examiners as a supervisory examiner.  

In 2023, he was seconded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and started to work at the Consulate General of Japan in Rio de Janeiro as head of the economic section, economic consul and intellectual property officer. 

Luana Barros

Adquiriu sua Pós-graduação em Direito da Propriedade Intelectual pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC) em 2010 e é graduada em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), 2006.

Minhas responsabilidades incluem a gestão da Propriedade Intelectual da organização, suporte à gestão de projetos de desenvolvimento de novos produtos e processos, além do gerenciamento do portfólio incentivado pela empresa. Também sou responsável pela submissão de projetos em editais de inovação, onde é necessário lidar com a negociações referente a Propriedade Intelectual.

Ricardo Boclin é engenheiro mecânico e advogado, atuando há mais de 20 anos na área de propriedade intelectual, em especial no processamento administrativo de patentes e desenhos industriais no Brasil e no exterior. Ricardo é atualmente o diretor da área de patentes da operação brasileira do escritório ClarkeModet além de ser membro do Conselho Diretor da ABPI.
