Bartosz Sujecki
Bartosz Sujecki é sócio da Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten em Amsterdã, Países Baixos. Ele é chefe do departamento de PI/TI da Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten. Membro da Ordem dos Advogados da Holanda e da Alemanha, é especializado na área de propriedade intelectual, direito de TI e litígios comerciais relacionados à tecnologia.
Bartosz Sujecki estudou direito alemão e holandês na Leibnitz Universität Hannover, Alemanha, na Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Países Baixos, e na Universiteit van Amsterdam. Em 2008, obteve seu doutorado com um estudo comparativo sobre a introdução de procedimentos judiciais eletrônicos na Universiteit Utrecht.
Bartosz Sujecki publica frequentemente sobre litígios transfronteiriços, direito de propriedade intelectual e direito de TI em revistas jurídicas holandesas e internacionais. Com mais de 150 publicações, ele é considerado um dos especialistas na área de litígios transfronteiriços na União Europeia. Bartosz Sujecki é palestrante frequente em conferências e cursos de treinamento para advogados e juízes, como a Academia Europeia de Direito, a Deutsche Richterakademie, a SSR holandesa, a Associação da Ordem dos Advogados do Estado de Nova Iorque, a Associação da Ordem dos Advogados do Estado da Califórnia e a ITechLaw.

Bartosz Sujecki, PhD, is partner at Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the head of the IP/IT department of Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten. He is admitted to the Dutch and the German Bar and specializes in the field of intellectual property, IT-law and Tech related commercial litigation.
Bartosz Sujecki studied German and Dutch law at the Leibnitz Universität Hannover, Germany, the Rijksuniversiteit Gronigen, the Netherlands, and the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2008, he has obtained a PhD on a comparative study on the introduction of electronic court proceedings from the Universiteit Utrecht.
Bartosz Sujecki publishes frequently over cross border litigation, intellectual property law and IT law in national and international law journals. With more than 150 publications, he is considered to be one of the experts in the field of cross border litigation in the EU. Bartosz Sujecki is a frequent speaker on conferences and trainings courses for lawyers and judges, such as the European Academy of Law, the Deutsche Richterakademie, the Dutch SSR, the New York State Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and the ITechLaw.

Lauro Locks é Conselheiro no Secretariado da Organização Mundial do Comércio (OMC), Genebra, Suíça, desde 2002. Atualmente é lotado na Divisão de Comércio e Meio Ambiente, trabalhando mais especificamente sobre o Acordo sobre Obstáculos Técnicos ao Comércio (TBT), que trata de temas regulatórios e seus impactos no comércio internacional. Anteriormente, trabalhou nas Divisão de Assuntos Jurídicos e na Divisão de Propriedade Intelectual do Secretariado da OMC. Lauro Locks é formado em direito (LL.B.) pela Universiade Federal de Santa Catarina, é Mestre em Relações Internacionais (M.A.L.D.) pela Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Boston, e Mestre em Direito sobre Propriedade Intelectual (LL.M.) pela Faculdade de Direito da George Washington University, Washington, DC. Antes de assumir sua atual posição na OMC, foi Secretário Jurídico no Tribunal de Justiça de Santa Catarina, advogado-associado em um escritório de advocacia no Rio de Janeiro bem como em escritórios especializados em direito do comércio internacional, em Washington, DC.
Lauro Locks has been a Counsellor at the Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland, since 2002. He is currently assigned to the Trade and Environment Division, focusing on the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), which addresses regulatory issues and their impact on international trade. Previously, he worked in the Legal Affairs Division and the Intellectual Property Division of the WTO Secretariat.
Lauro Locks holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, a Master’s in International Relations (M.A.L.D.) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.
Before his current role at the WTO, he served as Legal Secretary at the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina, as an associate attorney at a law firm in Rio de Janeiro, and in firms specializing in international trade law in Washington, DC
