Formado em direito pela UERJ, com Pós-graduação em Direito Civil Constitucional pela UERJ, MBA Executivo pela COPPEAD, LLM pela Northwestern University, Especialização em Finanças pela IE Business School e Especialização em Sustainability pela Harvard Business School.

Analista de comércio exterior, Mestre em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade de Brasília, com experiência em temas de defesa comercial e propriedade intelectual no Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços (MDIC). Atualmente ocupa o cargo de Coordenador-Geral de Propriedade Intelectual no MDIC, responsável pela coordenação da Estratégia Nacional de Propriedade Intelectual (ENPI) e apoio à Secretaria Executiva do Grupo Interministerial de Propriedade Intelectual (GIPI).

Foreign Trade Analyst, Master’s in International Relations from the University of Brasília, with experience in trade defense and intellectual property at the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC). Currently serving as the General Coordinator of Intellectual Property at MDIC, responsible for coordinating the National Intellectual Property Strategy (ENPI) and supporting the Executive Secretariat of the Interministerial Group on Intellectual Property (GIPI). 

Samantha Cunha 

Gerente de Política Industrial da CNI. Samantha é graduada em Economia pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2005), mestre em Economia pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2008) e doutora em Teoria Econômica pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2014). Foi aluna visitante da Université Paris Dauphine, França (2012). Pesquisadora do Núcleo de Economia Industrial e da Tecnologia do Instituto de Economia da Unicamp entre 2009 e 2013. Desde 2014, é economista na Confederação Nacional da Indústria. Atualmente, é Gerente de Política Industrial nessa instituição. Tem experiência na área de Economia Aplicada, com ênfase em Economia Internacional e Economia Industrial. 

Industrial Policy Manager at CNI. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2005), a Master’s degree in Economics from the same university (2008), and a PhD in Economic Theory from the State University of Campinas (2014). She was a visiting student at Université Paris Dauphine, France (2012). She was a researcher at the Center for Industrial and Technology Economics at the Institute of Economics at Unicamp from 2009 to 2013. Since 2014, she has been an economist at the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry. Currently, she is the Industrial Policy Manager at this institution. She has expertise in Applied Economics, focusing on International Economics and Industrial Economics. 

William Rospendowski 

Superintendente da Área de Inovação 4 da Finep, baseado no escritório de São Paulo. A AIN4 é responsável pela representação da Finep na região Sudeste e também por acompanhar projetos nos setores Aeroespacial, Defesa e Segurança, Têxtil e Calçados, Papel e Celulose, Educação, Propriedade Intelectual, entre outras áreas. Engenheiro Mecânico formado pela Unicamp e mestre em Políticas de Ciência e Tecnologia pelo SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit) / Universidade de Sussex, no Reino Unido, com distinção. Na Finep, já ocupou anteriormente as gerências do Departamento Operacional de São Paulo e do Departamento das Indústrias Aeroespacial, Defesa e Segurança, onde respondia também como Superintendente Adjunto da Superintendência Regional de São Paulo, tendo também passagens como analista da Presidência (onde integrou missões para Israel e África do Sul) e no Departamento de Planejamento. Anteriormente à Finep trabalhou em consultorias de negócios no Brasil (Roland Berger) e na Argentina (The Mind Company).

Superintendent of Innovation Area 4 (AIN4) at Finep, based in the São Paulo office. AIN4 is responsible for representing Finep in the Brazilian Southeast region and overseeing projects in various sectors, including Aerospace, Defense and Security, Textiles and Footwear, Paper and Pulp, Education, and Intellectual Property, among others. William holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Unicamp and a master’s degree in Science and Technology Policy from the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex, UK, with distinction. 

At Finep, William has previously managed the Operational Department of São Paulo and the Aerospace, Defense, and Security Industries Department, where he also served as Deputy Superintendent of the Regional Superintendency of São Paulo. Additionally, he has worked as an analyst for the Presidency, participating in missions to Israel and South Africa, and in the Planning Department. Prior to his tenure at Finep, William worked in business consulting with Roland Berger in Brazil and The Mind Company in Argentina. 

Cláudio Furtado

Cláudio Furtado é Of Counsel no Di Blasi, Parente & Associados. É ex-presidente do Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI), foi professor de carreira permanente da Fundação Getúlio Vargas, onde lecionou Estratégia de Investimentos, Finanças Corporativas, Private Equity e Venture Capital. É autor de artigos profissionais, palestrante em conferências internacionais e é coautor dos livros O Primeiro e Segundo Censos Brasileiros da Indústria de Private Equity e Venture Capital. Atuou como expert witness perito em várias arbitragens nacionais e internacionais, foi Conselheiro de Administração e tem como especialidades Economia Aplicada a Negócios, Finanças Corporativas e Estratégia, Investimentos, Private Equity e Venture Capital.

Cláudio Furtado is Of Counsel at Di Blasi, Parente & Associados. He is a former President of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO). He was a tenured professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, teaching Investment Strategy, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. He has authored professional articles, spoken at international conferences, and co-authored the first and second editions of “The Brazilian Census of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Industry.” He has served as an expert witness in various national and international arbitrations and as a Board Member. His specialties include Applied Business Economics, Corporate Finance and Strategy, Investments, Private Equity, and Venture Capital.
